Installing Isabelle/HOL on Windows [isa-0012]

  1. Go to the official Isabelle downloads page
  2. Download the Windows installer (a .exe file).
  3. Run the downloaded file.
  4. Choose where you want Isabelle to be installed (the default is fine).
  5. After installation, open the folder where Isabelle was placed (e.g. C:/Isabelle2024).
  6. Inside the bin subfolder, double-click isabelle_jedit.exe. This launches the Isabelle/jEdit IDE.
