September PhD Student Monitoring 2026 [loc-005M]

Today we had our regular PhD monitoring event, where all students and faculty in the Foundations cluster go to a remote location for a day, listen to some talks, and hold interviews with students where we ensure they're well supported. We went, as with last time, to the Cuppacumbalong Homestead for this event.

Some sheep and guard alpacas were milling about nearby.

This time the schedule felt quite relaxed and I had a nice time, although I was still suffering from jetlag. My student Kai Phan said she had a better time this time around, which makes me glad.
